“Authentic inn with lots of character and features. Very helpful staff. Real fire place in the room if that’s something that appeals to you. Room was immaculate, bed very comfortable and a nice little breakfast selection for the morning. Easy check in and some lovely outdoor seating with fire pits. It is possible to walk to Northeast harbour. ”

“We stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience! Gary and James were very helpful and had tons of information about the area. Our room was very clean and I love that it was built in the 1800’s. We never had a day where we weren’t busy. We really enjoyed the breakfast and we walked to town almost everyday. The weather was perfect. We would definitely stay again. ”

“A beautiful cabin surrounded in rich, forest with hiking trails. The property located is tucked away, which makes you feel secluded. Its an amazing and calm experience. The other campers were kind and said hello, when passing by. Fresh food markets nearby. Great nearby cities for more exploration. This was the best and safest experience in a cabin. The maintenance and upkeep is noticeable and I felt special staying in this cabin. This was an epic time away from home. Thank you. ”

“The Inn is a historic building with all the charm of an 1800 century structure. A bar and restaurant are on the first floor. The service and food I would rate a 10 out of 10. You know the food is good when the local people come here to eat. I highly recommend Barncastle Inn ”

“Sehr ruhig gelegen, Unterkunft sah so neu aus, als ob wir die ersten wären, die dort gewohnt haben. Ganz sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Eigentümer. Das Frühstück war toll. Wir werden wieder kommen, wenn wir den Acadia NP noch einmal besuchen.”

“The home was like staying at grandma’s house, complete with dust bunnies and spider webs. It’s a cute home in a great location to explore Acadia. We watched deer from the porch. It was a fantastic stay in that regard. RedAwning … a different story. They got our check in date wrong, so we could not get into the property until almost midnight. At one point they said go find other lodging… ummm, it’s not a city. Other lodging isn’t an option. Our our refrigerated groceries ruined. They were an……
