“The hotel is very new next to the new stadium sports complex which is one year old. There was some problems with the shower door and safe but the staff quickly moved us to another room. Breakfast and room service were very good. The shower has excellent strong water pressure and air cons work very well. You have to get a taxi into the centre of stone town which will cost you USD15 each way, but it is worth for the convenience of being away from the hustle and bustle - it was peaceful. ”

“I had a great stay at Zanzibar Coffee House! The staff are so lovely. Breakfast was delicious, & it is served in a beautiful setting on the rooftop overlooking Stonetown. I loved the aesthetic of my room, & everything was super clean! ”

“Incredibly historic building with unique individually decorated rooms! Perfect location for walking around Stonetown. Delicious breakfast served on rooftop! Request Belle room if you don't want a lot of stairs. It has a huge balcony along the front of the building so it's fun to see tourists stop and take photos!”

If you need some where close to the airport and 5min away from Stone town then I recommend Zanzibar beach resort. ”

“We stayed 5 nights at this Hotel and it was ok. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean. However, we would not consider this a 4-star hotel (but rather a 3-star), nor a resort (no gym, only one small restaurant, no lounge area etc.). The pool is very small and the beach in front of the hotel is not for swimming since it’s where the fishing boat are parked there (but the view is very nice). The room was ok, but very minimalistic (not in a cute way, i.e. no seating in the room) and the……
