“A lovely small hotel in a delightful small seaside town. Walked 10 minutes to the harbour and beach, with a drink in a small bar onthe way back. Very nice meal in the hotel restaurant in the evening. Staff very friendly and pleasant. Great place. ”

“If you are looking for 4 or 5* ratings then the Waterford Arms isn't for you. If you want honest, no frills accommodation with wonderful staff and great food then you're onto a winner. We had a great stay and when the area had a power cut on a fully booked restaurant on Saturday night the staff were amazing. Despite a considerable loss of income they kept smiling and coped very well. Seaton Sluice itself is very popular at the weekend. Not surprising really as it is very picturesque. We would be……

“My husband, daughter and myself stayed here for a little night away! The design of the place is really something else, we really loved the quirky interior design. The rooms were spacious with everything you need inside. We decided to stay for our evening dinner and we were really impressed with the food and the breakfast was also lovely. “Really friendly country pub and a great room. All the staff were great and and George the host even helped clear the car screen of ice, lovely chap. Would highly recommend to a quiet relaxing get away with great food. Excellent breakfast”

“The property itself and the host and hostess were fabulous. The room was quiet and had everything we needed. It was walkable into Alnwick. The only problem is the back path from the house into Alnwick is rough and very uneven and is not lit. I have mobility issues and we made it both nights without any issues however I would have liked an easier walk. ”
