“I stayed for two nights, and the apartment was clean (always important to me!), pretty, with a comfortable bed. It might be noted that there is a downstairs apartment as well, which I don't think was described on the website. I mention this only because of possible noise issues - I did hear music played from around 6-8 pm, but all was quiet after that. The setting is lovely, and the host was great - friendly and flexible. Overall an excellent stay.”

“Perfect location for Shelter Island, right next to a few restaurants and coffee shop. Very nice house with an entirely new second floor and beautiful bathroom. We stated here for a wedding instead of staying at The Chequit. Got a better nightly rate and much more space than the hotel. I'd recommend this house to anyone venturing out to Shelter Island.”
