“free bottled water was a nice touch”

“This Doubletree property was right in the heart of the Galleria area in Houston with plenty of walkable shops & restaurants. It smelled amazing as soon as you walk in! The agent at the desk checked us in early, gave us cookies/ water & was very personable. Our King Suite had a full kitchen, livingroom, separate bedroom & the best part was the spacious balcony with nice city views. Bed was comfy, but it took a little bit for the hot water to come on in the bathroom. Also, a housekeeper didnt know……

“Property was very nice for the price and all the staff we came in contact with were very helpful and knowledgeable. My only complaint is that it's a large hotel with only two elevators so the elevator wait was very long and you had to go up and down before finally reaching your floor. I will still give them 5 stars because it really was a great hotel. ”
