“I booked a short stay here from Toronto in May 2025. Booking and check-in were easy. Parking is located at the rear of the hotel with a side-door entrance. It can be a bit confusing locating the lobby from this side entrance but with a longer stay, you'll surely become familiar. My room was clean, had carpet and the sheets had noticeable imperfections (I don't expect much and always bring my own). Bathroom was large, clean and well-stocked with towels. “We always stay at the Royal Park when we’re in town visiting family. They offer an excellent location and consistent, friendly service. We really enjoy being within walking distance to all the many great restaurants in downtown Rochester. The aesthetic updates they’re doing throughout the hotel are nearly finished and look lovely; I like the mid-century modern touches and new upholstery, but I just wish they hadn’t erased all that beautiful warmth and sophistication of the natural wood paneling……
