“We always stay at the Royal Park when we’re in town visiting family. They offer an excellent location and consistent, friendly service. We really enjoy being within walking distance to all the many great restaurants in downtown Rochester. The aesthetic updates they’re doing throughout the hotel are nearly finished and look lovely; I like the mid-century modern touches and new upholstery, but I just wish they hadn’t erased all that beautiful warmth and sophistication of the natural wood paneling……

“Our room was spacious and very comfortable! I loved the coat, bench, fridge and microwave unit - very classy! My only problem with the room was that the Keurig machine was not functioning properly which informed housekeeping of. There was a nice selection of breakfast items which were delicious and served on real plates! All the staff were very friendly and helpful except for the lady that checked us in. Would definitely stay here again during our next visit to Detroit!! Go Tigers!!”

“I booked a short stay here from Toronto in May 2025. Booking and check-in were easy. Parking is located at the rear of the hotel with a side-door entrance. It can be a bit confusing locating the lobby from this side entrance but with a longer stay, you'll surely become familiar. My room was clean, had carpet and the sheets had noticeable imperfections (I don't expect much and always bring my own). Bathroom was large, clean and well-stocked with towels. There is a fridge in the room spacious……

“The guy at the desk was rude and arrogant, but the place was great, clean, and inexpensive. The staff was fine. There are a lot of very disgusting Wyndham hotels around there and I moved here from there because they were so disgusting, dirty, ill run.”

“It was very good the only problem was one of the front desk service desk person he was very rude to the customers and when we asked for clean towels we were told we had to get them from house keeping but we never seen house keeping so we had to wash our own towels”
