“Our stay at The Wellborn was lovely. It’s charming and staying in the oldest house in Orlando means there are quirks. The floor in our room was slanted, electrical outlets are in the weirdest places (common in an 1883 house that has been refurbished into a hotel) and the bathroom was tiny. That said, the decor was beautiful and the whole place was whimsical. I wish I had known there would be loud music playing until 1am most nights, but thankfully they provided earplugs in the room. “There are actually so many nice things to say about this place. The host is super kind and always available. The place is beautifully decorated with everything you might need even an iron hair dryer. I am very sensitive to scented items and there are no harsh chemicals or scents. Even the soaps and lotions she provides are not overly scented. I was surprised to learn there was a cleaning fee but it’s only $25 which seems fair. Your stay here will inspire you to consider building your own tiny……

“This property was not available after booking. I was told that the property had sold. I sensed a scam, as another reviewer mentioned the need to secure a room at a hotel at the last minute. The owner offered me another property verbally, but said it rents for higher. It was his own personal house. He said I should cancel the first booking. I was unable to cancel as I had booked a bundle deal.”
