“Vandhanen duede ikke og der var skimmelsvamp flere steder på værelset. Personalet var under alt kritik og der blev ikke gjort rent på værelset selvom vi bad om det. De opkrævede ekstra penge for at være to personer, hvilket vi ikke var blevet informeret om.”

“What a wonderful stay we had. The hotel is right on the bikini beach so you step out of the hotel and BAM beach time. The hotel is clean and fresh and everyone has their role to play. Great snorkeling experience and felt safe and well looked after. Meal options are fab and the buffet dinner is a treat. We stayed in the deluxe room with balcony, room 1704 and it was amazing to see the sun set, beach from our bed. We met Anisur whilst dinning and he was always so friendly with us. ……

“The hotel is brand new, it was open in December 2024. It has 3 restaurants, a buffet offering asian, indian and international food, a great italian restaurant with great pizza, and one of the best authentic thai restaurant with the most amazing staff. The hotel has a good kids.club, 3 slides for kids, a lazy river (bring your floatings), and about 3 main beaches. Not many fishes around, but we were able to see baby shark, baby ray, and small fishes. The island is not a natural wild island, it……

“Possitive: Value for money, good location, quite area, good sea view from our room, staff are very helpfull and kind, free pickup/drop off from/to the ship port, very clean, free usage of sea towels, 24/7 reception,shops near the hotel. Negative: Wifi have very bad signal and is very slow, poor breakfast, mosque is behind the hotel, no elevator in the hotel We had a very good stay in Velana hotel. I suggest the hotel.”
