“The bar is a big favorite among locals and worldwide golfers. Old Course right close. Very pleasant and very friendly. "Hotel operations" are run out of the bar. Pleasant and quiet room with single beds (golfers' pref, i'm sure) with updated bathroom. Lovely breakfast. Free parking for rental in public lot nearby.”

“No. 1 Apartments are the gold standard in St. Andrews. I’d previously stayed in apartments for a larger group, but this was my first stay in an apartment for 1-2 occupants. I loved the room—it was roomy with plenty of space for suitcases, to put my clothes away, etc. Although there was no kitchen, there are enough takeaway breakfast places in the vicinity that I didn’t mind and the Nespresso machine was a plus.”

“This is the gold standard for B&Bs. Mark and Jeni are wonderful hosts and the house is nicely decorated and furnished. The breakfast was delicious, and we had so many choices! We would recommend this B&B to anyone staying near St. Andrews. There are stairs to the rooms, as is the case in most B&Bs and hotels in Scotland, so since we had a car, we pack a small weekend bag, so we don't have to carry heavy suitcases up and down. Thank you Mark and Jeni for a wonderful stay!”

“Lovely room with huge bed and sea view, tv a little flaky. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Car park is a free public carpark 5min walk away but room to drop off luggage before moving the car”

“Great location and setting for a short stay in Fife. Staff were helpful with extra requests for a young family. Delicious food from the restaurant and full breakfast next morning. Room was spacious and well equipped with comfortable beds, fast wifi, fridge and TV etc.”

“The apt was well situated for comfort and easy access to all of St Andrew’s. With 2 locations in town they have a lot of options for single and group travel. I really liked the premium feel to the apartments and was well taken care of in communication with their staff when I had questions during and the option to leave my. “The hotel is clean and quiet. Room is cozy and well decorated. However, it is a pity that there is no lift in the hotel, we had to carry luggages to the 1st floor. The restauant is great and the view is wonderful. ”
