“The Wick is conveniently located literally across the street from the Hudson NY Amtrak rail station. My room was very nice, spacious, with comfortable bedding and lighting. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a problem with my stuck entry door and it was immediately addressed. Bathroom was very spacious - good water pressure and quality amenities. I had a full American breakfast in the lobby area and it was tasty. I felt safe as a solo traveler - not that the property is at the end of……

“They were very friendly with my dog Hugo and we had a great stay. I do wish Hugo a small dachshund can hang by the breakfast area as he’s super well behaved. We ended up sitting in the patio which is also lovely as the weather was gorgeous. They gave Hugo a little beef patty on the last day of breakfast and I appreciate it! Hugo can run around the open greenery area and he’s so happy ! ”

The property was cool, clean and inviting. The bed in the master bedroom was luxuriously comfortable, the washer dryer was the BEST we have ever used (I want a set!) and there were TONS of outlets and chargers scattered around the house- a real pleasure since most older homes have a severe outlet shortage.
