“The Doubletree is an excellent option for anyone interested in staying in downtown Poughkeepsie. I have stayed there on three different occasions in the last three months, each time for several days,and have always had a good experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the parking is free, access is convenient, there are great restaurants within a short walk, and it is only a short walk to the Poughkeepsie Bridge State Park, which is spectacular. Many rooms have a beautiful view over town……

“We had a nice time at the Mirabeau in rhinebeck. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Cathan who checked us in and provided helpful recommendations and answered all our questions. E-charging was a bit difficult had there were only 2 available chargers but we made do. The HVAC is a bit loud (like others have mentioned) but also manageable. Considering the price of Mirbaeu, I would’ve expected a bigger room, other amenities, and more attention from some staff at the spa……

“The property and location were amazing. Super easy to get to and from different points in Kingston. Walkable area. Good parking direction from the host. There was a logistical mix up but they fixed that immediately. It would have been nice to have the sofa bed made up upon arrival or at least have extra linens in the suite, but I let them know via their text line, and they sent someone within an hour. The breakfast/coffee situation leaves quite a lot to be desired, but hopefully theyll work out……

“The setting for this bed and breakfast was what you think of when you think of bed and breakfast - quaint setting - rustic accommodations in a country environment. Bring your computer or a book - no TV in the room. The only "complaint" is that breakfast was sparse. We thought she said, "yogurt, fruit, and granola" but when we looked in the around the common kitchen/frig we didn't see any granola. There were 2 containers of yogurt and a small bowl of blueberries. We weren't sure the other stuff……
