“Really great staff. The room was spacious and some nice touches. Air con would have been good but the fan in room was welcome. Was expecting a bit of noise but didn't notice anything. “A welcoming, traditional, impeccably presented hotel in an elevated position with expansive views from the gardens. Geared up for weddings and events. A little lacking in facilities for other types of guests (e.g. a gym or pool), but we had a lovely brief stay. Good food, excellent breakfast. Transport needed to reach the property up a long, mainly single track road - try not to leave when dozens of wedding guests are arriving from the opposite direction!”
