“My family and I had a great stay at Magnalia House. The house and detached pool cabana were spotless, comfortable and well appointed. Highlight is definitely the soaking pool in backyard. The area around the pool was comfortable, and beautifully landscaped, giving a feeling of complete privacy even though you are in a neighborhood. Also, the awnings allow for plenty of sun but also allow you to enjoy outside even when it’s pouring rain. And the view of Arenal from the pool is stunning. A couple……

“The property is in need of many upgrades. The electrical outlets didn’t all work, the plumbing in that toilets needed attention for the first 3 days. The kitchen wasn’t suitable for cooking as the pots and pans were old and needed to be replaced. The toaster and blender didn’t work, although the blender was replaced promptly. The pool was great and location was good. You really will need a car to stay here. A printed guide would have been helpful telling us how to turn on patio lights etc. ……

“This property was absolutely magical! At the price point I thought maybe it was too good to be true, but it was even better than the photos appeared. The host was very reachable and helpful. The property was gorgeous and felt like a dream. We saw to and on the way in, heard howler monkeys once in the morning, and had a tree frog in our hot tub with us.
