“Muy recomendadas si el plan es ir a pasar la noche y salir a disfrutar de lo que ofrece la zona. Las 4 estrellas son porque la cocina estaba cerrada a horas de la madrugada (6:45am) y no pudimos calentar el desayuno ya que no había nadie que nos atendiera. Por lo demás, muy buena opción acorde al precio.”

“We loved the freedom to explore the rainforest right outside our door. We saw a wide variety of wildlife: howler monkeys, iguanas, motmots, tree frogs, hummingbirds.... Tirimbina also offers many different tours. We went on a night walk and our guide, Walter, was knowledgeable and very friendly. Overall we loved our time at Tirimbina.”

“We were a group of 9 adults coming in to stay for one night before our morning flight out the next day. The hosts were very responsive and kind. They welcomed us and even picked us up from the rental car agency after dropping off our cars. The balconies are really nice. We enjoyed sitting outside and relaxing on our last night in Costa Rica. “Cute location that had everything we needed. Rooms were clean, shower was hot, and it was a short walking distances to nice restaurants. Staff was helpful and friendly. We met a traveler from Europe who comes to Costa Rica a lot and this is the only place she stays! Note that the parking spot isn't very big if you have a rental car.”

“Beautifully maintained property, excellent staff and service. Organic herb gardens, small farm with animals. Did not use spa services. Cabin 7 is kinda funky with huge bathtub, requiring a lot of water to fill, and a fireplace that adds ambiance. Kitchen sink with small refrigerator, but no glasses or kitchen towel.
