“Great apartment, clean and a beautiful view.”

“We have been going down to Akumal since the late 90's with owners of like business in the US. In the past we have rented several condos in half moon bay. This is the first time we have rented a large facility. It was perfect for all of us. We had 3 father and sons. So they were able to stay in the same rooms. The 13 bedrooms was perfect. Felipe was a great host. The instructions of getting from the airport to Villa Bellamar was great for the few that had never been to Akumal before.……

“Our first day had a few hiccups. Juany was on it and had everything resolved promptly. We enjoyed our stay. Would recommend a car rental to make things a bit easier. We used taxi and the shuttle ran regularly within resort area. Great stay overall!!!!”

“We really enjoyed the relaxing stay and especially enjoyed using the rooftop pool in Building G. The on-site security didn't ever feel needed, but it was such a nice touch to have someone there to say hello and goodbye as we came and went throughout the stay. I just realized that I have yet to mention the actual condo... it was amazing as well and the pictures do not do it justice. We felt the value was great for all that it included. We would recommend this location for anyone looking for a……

“Nicer than expected. Nice clean building, new comfortable spacious place with beautiful finishings, safe area. Only complaint is that we had no instructions to check in. We arrived at 8pm. Luckily a very helpful neighbor was able to contact the property manager and got us the door code to get into the place. I’d definitely recommend this place. Just make sure to get the door code before arriving. ”

“The condo was clean. The maid service was excellent. We had a door knob quit working and someone came and fixed it quickly. The condo does need updating with paint, and just to let general spruce up. The beds were excellent patio furniture is very dated. Overall, I would come back, but would hope that the owner puts a little time and money into the condo.”

“Our lodging porch was immediately adjacent to a small beach we shared with the other guests staying in our building at Luna Azul with the gloriously brilliant Caribbean just beyond the white sand beach. The condo unit was very well furnished especially in the kitchen with appropriate dishware, cookware and very nice containers to keep our leftovers. The decor was very beautifully done although simple and we enjoyed our stay very much. It was a perfect launch pad from which to snorkel in Half……

“This is a lovely, well-equipped condo. We never tired of sitting on the balcony watching and listening to the waves right below us. Everything is extremely accessible and we enjoyed walking the beach road. Two highlights: snorkelling with the turtles and lunch at Buena Vista. ”
