“The Blue Jay is the best place to stay in Blanco! We stayed 3 nights and loved the place. Spacious rooms, great decor, more than enough towels normally an issue and a fantastic back yard. We’ll definitely be back as we have friends to visit in Blanco!! Thanks for such great accommodations!”

“Stunning place with a consistent vibe. Unplug, be present in nature, unbelievable views. We were the only guests at the location that night and everything was perfect. We cooked a small meal on the BBQ, looked up at the amazing night sky, made a fire in the wood stove because it got chilly out, used the electric blanket and watched the sunset. Took some photos, enjoyed the walk down to the river the next day. The staff at the park are so chill and helpful. Very relaced but also professional and……

“Property is perfect for weekend stays. Restaurant has great food and their outside area for yard games and the stage area for entertainment is awesome. Bed was comfy and the rooms are Very nice. Perfectly located close to Johnson City near some state parks, or bouncing around for wine tasting or other distilleries.”

“The Riverside Retreat is so comfortable, accommodating, and beautiful. It was completely refurbished inside, and everything was beautiful, easy to use, clean, and comfortable. The screened porch was the best, and we enjoyed quality time sitting by the river (which was running at the time) in a peaceful, refreshing setting. Our only (slight) challenge was finding the location in the dark.”

“This is very much a glamping experience. The trailers are nice, but too small to do much besides sleep in them. The private bathrooms and outdoor showers make this place! They add a fun style too it, especially in the heat of the summer. The outdoor seating area and pool are nice too. This would be a fun place for a girls weekend or small family reunion. ”
