“Loved the unique decor. Having 2 bedrooms was great. Very quiet despite being on a busy highway. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the outside deck.and unlike other rentals, the owner provide little amenities such as coffee, creamer, shampoo & and other things. Easy drive to shopping & other activities. Great place for this mom & daughter team to have fun and relax!”

“The cabin was clean and had the essentials. The renter provided great communication.The cabin is miles from any major road. It's serene and peaceful. Wild animals all around. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Fredericksburg because of the winding dirt roads.Consider the weather for this property. Bad weather could make the cabin inaccessible.”

“It is a cute little getaway. Exactly what was needed to unplug from our busy life. The property was very private and quiet. Be prepared to not have any internet services. Make sure to take a screen shot of all the information to get into the property and any where you want to travel to in the area. We ended up visiting the little gem right next to vrbo. Old tunnel state park. You can watch the bats in the evening and hike to see the tunnel during the day. They provide a grill for cooking. Small……

“The Blue Jay is the best place to stay in Blanco! We stayed 3 nights and loved the place. Spacious rooms, great decor, more than enough towels normally an issue and a fantastic back yard. We’ll definitely be back as we have friends to visit in Blanco!! Thanks for such great accommodations!”

“We absolutely loved everything about this property. Only one mile from downtown Fredericksburg but you feel like you are way out in the country. We loved the sheep and roosters, plus we heard cows mooing in the distance. Loved the porch swing and the hot tub. We will definitely be back. ”

“This property was great - we visited Fredericksburg and climbed Enchanted Rock. We had to pick the key up in town, but the instructions were spot on. The property is isolated but close to town. Plenty of space for the two of us. The decor is very unique and locking the front door is a little tricky. Would definitely stay here again. ”
