“Lovely quiet arra to rest durung business trips, but paying for additional room space wasnt worth it as i had trouble getting in and out the shower due to the door being tight to the toilet. The restaurant also seems to have gone down hill and i was served almost burnt and greasy chips with my gluten free meal”

“The check in experience was great, really friendly reception staff explained everything. Room was good size, nice and clean. Only complaint would be was top warm and window quite old and stiff to open. We had a drink in the bar and the service was atrocious!!! If we hadn't been staying there we would have walked out. There was a party in front that got served and then The bar person just walked out of the bar. Nothing said to us, no explanation, nothing at all. When she came back eventually……

“We stayed for a family wedding close by. Beds were very comfortable. Bath could have been cleaner. Otherwise if we needed to be in the Bromsgrove area again, we would definitely come back! ”

“A little remote, but in a nice environment. Nice and cosy, and run by a old couple. The only drawback for an overall top marks is because of the shower, although it is newly installed, it is difficult to operate and the water pressure is somewhat too low to have a nice shower. The worst part is the wall inside the shower cubicle is dirty but consider the old couple are working hard to run the hotel and also the nice letters restaurants, so it is not a complaint, just would like to point it……

“The Vine the oldest coaching inn in Staffordshire. We were given a warm welcome and allowed to check-in early as they had a room available. We were asked about breakfast and we needed information on gluten free items as my husband is Coeliac, they kindly provided a separate sheet with the options on. Although the building is old the room was clean and the large bed very comfortable. The bathroom was large and the shower adequate. The staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome.”
