“Had an unplanned layover in Portland while getting repair work done on my Sprinter Van. An employee at Outside Van recommended McMenamins Edgefield and really glad I chose this place. Unique lodging experience and fabulous dinner and breakfast at the pub and restaurant in the main lodge. Much better than staying at a chain hotel! Would have liked to take advantage of the billiards, but didn’t have anyone to play with. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the Portland area!”

“This house has a ton of space and a ton of character. It is situated on a huge lot with lots of beautiful greenery surrounding it. Cool 70’s vibes inside and it really fits the flavor of Portland. “Lavishing in a hot tub deep in the forest alongside a clear, rushing river, flourishing rhododendron, and other flowers was the epitome of "forest bathing." It was cool, cloudy, and rainy during our stay, and we didn't care! Hot-tubbing in the rain is an exquisite experience. The home was just rustic enough to be an authentic cabin in the forest. The upgraded kitchen and bathrooms made our stay even more enjoyable. With a gas fireplace, comfortable furnishings, and plenty of windows to enjoy the……
