“This is a great, basic, not fancy clean motel. The location is great for the ferry to Mackinaw, just a few minutes from Shepler's dock. Thanks to the motel front desk staff for giving us good information about shuttles and getting the ferry to Mackinaw Island. DON"T pay 15.00 to park at Shepler's lot, call them and the nice shuttle will pick you up in minutes from this motel. Tip the driver, they are super nice. There is an excellent cafe for breakfast and lunch across the parking lot called……

“No breakfast options other than granola bars. However, there are many restaurants very close by. Good location, close to everything. We had a minor problem with the room that the hotel staff resolved quickly. Note that the free wifi at the hotel is not secure, but cell signal was good. No microwave in the room, and the fridge did not have much space. But room was huge. Loved the log cabin decor.”

“This was the fourth consecutive year we've stayed here on our journey north. This is a classic old motel, very well kept and very well run.b process are reasonable in the area, and it's easily walkable to dining or shopping. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.”
