“My wife and I stayed here for two nights while visiting our daughter who is in college in Tacoma. What a lovely cottage! Conveniently located to walk down the hill to the shoreline and coffeeshops. “Had a good stay. Had to do some additional cleaning to one bathroom (washed shower curtains and rug), but that was only hiccup. Good communication from manager when a minor issue sprung up (they took care of it in a timely manner - battery issue in carbon monoxide detector). I would stay again if we come back!”

“The apt is a 30 min drive to tacoma. It's small and musty. We stayed for a month. Now where do I start.... Broken closet door and dirty carpets to start. There is no dishwasher in the tiny kitchen with small fridge. The laundry is in a shared room in the apt complex. You'll have to wait your turn to do laundry. The heater went out in one of the bedrooms the second I turned it on. The rest of the stay I froze in the 40 degree room. There were someone's dirty clothes under one bed, the other……

“Pictures don’t do this view justice. The apartment is literally across the street from the quiet meadow and pond in Pt Defiance Park. Great place for walking and my tiny dog was mesmerized! The rooftop space is such a great place to hang out and have a glass of wine in the evening or a cup of coffee in the morning. The bed is super comfortable and the shower is great.Very convenient to North Tacoma destinations and Vashon Island. We can’t wait to come back.”

“My husband and I had a lovely weekend at Dekoven Inn! We appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was for cooking, and the comfortable bed. The backyard has a lot of great hangout options, and the lake access was great. The highlight for us was the wonderful management team- when they found out we were staying there for our anniversary, they hand delivered a thoughtful gift to celebrate us! The couches weren’t the comfiest, but we had no problem relaxing and enjoying ourselves. Definitely……
