“We gathered to celebrate my friends 50th birthday and knock off a bucket list item with him as well. The house was well situated, in a quiet residential neighbourhood right off the main drag with plenty of food and entertainment options. Felt safe the whole time we were there, parked my car out front and didn’t move it for three days. “The accomodations were as described, more than we imagined actually, as we gathered to celebrate our friend. The weather was perfect, Mt Hood offered incredible views and the river is therapeutic.Great, prompt and accurate communication from our host.”

“This property perfectly fit our family’s needs with a lot of space, many sleeping rooms, a large dining area and two living areas for quiet sitting spaces. When we arrived there was no iron, only 1 kitchen towel, and the dishwasher was broken and had food in the bottom of it. However, the property managers were quick to remedy the issues even giving us the choice of when they would fix the dishwasher (we opted for after our departure). “We stayed here while visiting family and it was a comfortable spot to relax in after a day of activities. The back yard was securely fenced in for our dog, and our toddler loved running around. We had everything we needed to prep our groceries for meals and snacks. The street outside is mildly busy, but there is a back entrance to the driveway that made it safer to move kids and animals in and out.”

“Ruth's Cottage is as advertised - a charming farmhouse which has plenty of vintage touches AND is comfortable, cozy, and with all the amenities one needs. And its location can't be beat - just a short walk to downtown Carlton, an easy drive to McMinnville, and convenient access to everything that Willamette Valley wine country has to offer. “Had a great stay at this place with our family. The big kitchen made it easy for us all to cook together and it was well sticked with the things you always forget to buy when traveling. The Rec room was super nice and we spent a lot of time playing in there. Overall a great stay and we'd definitely rent this place again! ”

“We rented this home for our son's graduation from George Fox University. There were a total of 6 adults; we all had enough space. It is a fun home with a lot of different options for play within the the home. As for entertaining; many different areas to visit and enjoy meals together. “Stayed here for 5 nights and was impressed by the cleanliness of the property and the friendliness of the staff. Loved having a kitchen with full size refrigerator. Parking was slightly challenging but always found a spot and I was not paying $50 per night to stay other places. Parked are the streets each night around the property and nobody bothered our vehicle. We were on the 2nd floor and never heard any noise from the bar across the street.
