“Overall this property worked well for our group of six. Bedrooms were spacious and bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry were functional. Wi-Fi and TV worked well. Location was great and walkable to many of the attractions in the city.The couch in the living room was broken and the room could benefit from more seating and a rearranged layout to take advantage of the space.The door knob for the upstairs bathroom is loose and needs to be fixed to prevent the possibility of someone getting stuck in……

“Great house and a very quiet gated neighborhood, beach access within neighborhood and city access on east side.The house is huge and the master bed is very comfortable.It’s on the east end and close to the Strand, easy navigation to what ever your plans entail, would and will stay here again”

“We came to Galveston to attend the Dickens on the Strand and celebrate my sister’s 50th birthday. We had an amazing time. We normally rent a beach house but I was happy to find a historic home with room for our family. We had a wonderful time. The home is historic and so charming. We will definitely stay again. ”

“The house was absolutely beautiful and the views were amazing. I wish I would have known ahead of time that I could not get food or groceries delivered to the home. Someone before us had spilled in the oven and made a mess I tried to clean it but it still needs cleaned. The left front burner on the stove does not work. A clip on the pool is already broken. The front door is very hard to get latched and locked. The house was as promised but the area was a bit to be desired for my family. ……
