There are wonderful touches like coffee pods, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, and Q-tips in the bathroom. Nightstands were complete with water and York peppermint patties. This place feels homey and the bed is very comfortable. Amy has created a peaceful and relaxing retreat. My husband, dog, and I enjoyed staying here while exploring the area. ”

“We visited for 4 days and stayed a 5th day so we could get another day of skiing in. We were comfortable, the place was heated, warm, cozy and away from everything which is what we wanted. There’s a store in town (Reeds) where you can grab groceries, Redding is a half hour away, Shasta 1.5 hours. Peace, quiet, Serenity, good for the kids to run around. Plenty of firewood for the old school stove. Beds cozy. Office nearby. Hottub wasn’t overchlorinated which was nice. They should make it lighter……

“The decor was unobtrusively part of the house, yet drew you in at the same time. A lot of thought went into making you feel welcome,and then immediately at home at the same time. Everything was spotless clean, an inviting aroma just as you walk in. Everything was explained in friendly detail. This was a 5 star experience. We will be back.
