“Great location, lakefront with private dock. Carpet in bedroom should be removed. Plenty of stains. Better lighting inside would be helpful. Bedrooms very dark with lamps provided. ”

“The home was absolutely gorgeous! We had coffee on the back deck with the deer every morning and loved the nights by the firepit. So quiet and relaxing. Just what we needed! Thank you for hosting us! ”

“This is our second time staying at Sunset View. We love the location. The southern end of lake is more quiet in our opinion and this home is perfect for two families. We love the overall space, flat yard and that you can go into the water easily given the ocean type access. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is stocked and the host provides basics to get you started which should last a good 2-3 days. We will most definitely be back to Sunset View in the future.”

“We were in town for sad circumstances, but Aldo’s place was just what we need for rest. We loved the views, morning coffee outside was perfect and he had more than what you could ask for. I would highly recommend staying here and I know we would stay there again in a heartbeat. ”

“The cabin was as advertised. The kitchen was stocked well with cookware and spices. The check in process was very simple. The Potomac scenic railroad is about 30 minutes away. It was a beautiful time of year with the fall colors to take the train through the Trough.”

“The home is clean, well decorated and the layout was lovely. Plenty of clean towels and overall we loved the place and will plan to stay at this property again if available. We had some very minor observations for improvement: 1. The arcade machine was fun but not being set on free play requiring a quarter was annoying. Nobody has a quarter in 2024 2. “Great property and stay. However, I didnt understand the purpoae of having to clean dishes and take iutbthe trash. Its been my experience that the prooerties are professiinalky cleaned after each use. ”

“Very cozy, home offered just about anything you would need. The owners are very nice and very quick to respond to any questions. The large property and privacy was an added bonus. Would highly recommend this property and personally love to return. ”

“The home is beautful but not the care and maintence. Showers were not cleaned. No place for your clothes. Closets were sloppily shoved full of owers personal belongings. Broken glass in 2nd bedroim as well as broken string lights on back and front porch. I asked if we needed bedding and towels etc. Owner stated no, but not enough towels for our famiky of 8. Outside weeds and grass not taken care of. Pvc pipe laying all around. Open Alcohol left in freezer. Grill was in bad shape. Could memtion……

“Nice, relaxing, comfortable home to stay with family. Location is a little farther out from the center of town, which was great for quiet and crowds, but was a short drive. Check-in was easy and property included most everything we needed. We actually bought more than we needed. Host was responsive to 2 minor issues we had questions on. Overall, this was exactly what we expected and we had an enjoyable family trip. Would recommend to other families.”
