“Overall we had a good experience and were thankful for all the little extras like firewood, oil and vinegar, foil and film wrap, salt and pepper, tea bags and sugar. We loved the mattress in the cottage and the Internet was working great despite the really bad storm we had this week. However a few improvements are needed for us to come back: the toilet seat is wobbly. The faucets in the bathroom are not making it easy to rince your mouth after you brush your teeth. “Amazing! The house is so cozy, beautifully laid out and well appointed. Great mattresses, towels, water pressure, etc. But really it's the incredible views from every single window (green rolling hills dotted with white sheep and the ocean out in the distance) and being along the path to Brother's Point that makes this place so special. We stayed in 3 rentals during our UK trip and this was by far the best and we all wish we had booked it for longer. We certainly hope to be back some day! One……

“This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy.
