“WATCH OUT!!!! This property, and the people we interacted with for the reservation via Expedia, was a total scam. It starts with attractive photos on both Expedia and Hotels.com, but quickly gets sketchy with cryptic emails and texts regarding the reservation, payment and property details. Unfortunately, our trip was somewhat last minute, so we didn't have many local options for Skye, but this property / representatives were the absolute worst. STAY AWAY!!!”

“Had a lovely stay in Shiskine! The only thing I worried about was the proximity to the road but so few cars drove by, especially at night, that it is no problem at all. Peaceful and quiet. The tiny house/pod is just as promised in the pictures. I had a fantastic time exploring the surroundings of the lighthouse and of course all the beaches nearby. The beach below the property was basically a private one (in October), as I only saw a couple of other people once.”

“The hosts came to greet us, even left some food in the refrigerator for us in case we arrived too late to go to the supermarket. The cabin is new, clean, well decorated, quiet environment. “We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage suited our needs, and we appreciated the amenities in the cottage, including the laundry, kitchen and shower facilities. The setting is lovely and quiet, and we enjoyed walking and exploring the village, the stunning views, and finding sea glass by the shore. It definitely suited our budget as we were able to drive into the Isle of Skye, spend the day, and drive back to the cottage for the night, The cottage is also close to Eilean Donan castle……
