“Loved staying in the wonderfully appointed cabin, it had everything you could need for basic meal cooking. The shower as terrific, as was the bed. The cabin was very clean. This was one of our favorite places to stay on our 2+ week long Scotland trip. The views from the cabin were especially nice too.”

“5 minute walk to all town amenities, was great to have a fridge and cooking facilities, hosts were friendly. Across the road from the beach and walking path. Highly recommend!”

“Excellent location to hike the Quiraing and An Storr. Just 30 minutes drive from Portree if you crave an evening out but the kitchen was an excellent plus to make breakfast before heading out. ”

“WATCH OUT!!!! This property, and the people we interacted with for the reservation via Expedia, was a total scam. It starts with attractive photos on both Expedia and Hotels.com, but quickly gets sketchy with cryptic emails and texts regarding the reservation, payment and property details. Unfortunately, our trip was somewhat last minute, so we didn't have many local options for Skye, but this property / representatives were the absolute worst. STAY AWAY!!!”

“The views from this tiny cabin were spectacular!!! My family of 4 were able to stay there comfortably for 2 nights, despite it being a tiny house. The hosts were great with communication, and helpful/available with any concerns. It is relatively secluded, but that is what we were hoping for. Would definitely go back and stay there again on my next trip to Scotland!”

Applecross Inn is a great place for late afternoon drinks and dinner. Marion is a great host. “Had a lovely stay in Shiskine! The only thing I worried about was the proximity to the road but so few cars drove by, especially at night, that it is no problem at all. Peaceful and quiet. The tiny house/pod is just as promised in the pictures. I had a fantastic time exploring the surroundings of the lighthouse and of course all the beaches nearby. The beach below the property was basically a private one (in October), as I only saw a couple of other people once.”

“The hosts came to greet us, even left some food in the refrigerator for us in case we arrived too late to go to the supermarket. The cabin is new, clean, well decorated, quiet environment. The only negative point is the water pressure in the shower. Would recommend to anyone going to the Isle of Skye.”
