“Staff was terrific. Travelers got separated and staff here helped both parties. The one who hiked got caring aid - food, information about other travelers options, offers to help with communication. The one who did not hike got excellent information on how to meet up in another town on the following day. Staff kept in touch after. Food was abundant and delicious.”
“Late June (cold winter) 2025: Very Good (and new) hotel that is centrally located. Market is 3 minute walk and restaurants a 7 min walk - neighborhood is safe to walk in at night; has fast WiFi; heat in room via an electric heater (ask for it); good bed and blankets: my wife and I were warm overnight - no need to sleep in extra pajamas (compare with Puno); TV worked fine. Room was decent size and had lots of shelves for storing packs etc. Note that the best rooms are on the 4th and 5th floors -……
