“Our family of 4 adults stayed here for two nights. We used the fully-equipped kitchen (minus a potato masher, and then we accidentally left our potatoes in a bottom drawer.....), grilled on the balcony, and also ate dinner and brunch on the balcony right on the beach. We were there in mid-October and it felt peaceful, quiet, and private, which we loved. Throughout the house there were cute curiosities that added a lot of character. “Overall I would describe this property as ok...didn't exceed or overly disappoint. Was some cleanliness issues like spider webs inside in multiple places leading to a spider dropping from the vaulted ceiling onto my mother's head. Which most in the group found funny but she didn't. The beds weren't as comfortable as I would expect from a premium location. 3 of the 4 bedrooms are below grade which caused cool evenings/ mornings in spring months. We were not able to find extra blankets or bedding……

“Had a great stay beautiful home, only complaint was that every bed in the house had dog hair on it so we had to wash the blankets . Other than that it was a nice stay. Quiet neighborhood daytime and at night. I would definitely book again. ”

“This property is old and very dated. The room did include a microwave and fridge. The listing was clear that there was no air conditioning, but the room had a box fan which worked well. We were able to view the room before we were charged, which was nice. The price was reasonable for North Lake Tahoe. ”

“The location was convenient for shops and beaches, but the orientation of the home during the warm season was such that the patios were quite hot in the evenings when we returned from the lake. There is a strict rule to not be outside past 9pm, when the patio and lights were lovely. The cottage was well appointed and clean. The couch and beds were comfortable. A winter stay would be preferable, so the warmth of the upstairs room would be appreciated more. The check in and out process was a……
