“The cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway. As other reviewers have mentioned, the cabins were closer together than I expected, but they’ve done a great job at still making it seem very private. The river was shallow, so the pups really enjoyed walking in it. Jerry was always very responsive, as was Chris who we met when we arrived. Overall a great stay!”

“We loved Love Ridge Mountain Lodge, we stayed at the Kennedy Ridge! It was clean and well kept! Communication was great with the owners and everything is available in the home! Very peaceful and relaxing! We even met Chester! The property cat, she is loving and hung out with us for a bit! Awesome experience, if you are visiting or from Virginia we recommend the lodge! ”

“This place is so peaceful and beautiful. The cabin is bright and spacious. The bedroom suites are on opposite sides of the house which is perfect for two couples. The open kitchen/living area looks out over the river and the large back deck overlooks the small but beautiful river. John was fantastic. Highly recommend! ”

“We really enjoyed our quick getaway to the mountains. My kids were so sad when it was time to leave. It was nice to disconnect from home and enjoy the outdoors. It was amazing to have a place that my mother could enjoy as well as she does have some mobility issues. This house had everything we needed! ”

“A beautiful house on a beautiful piece of property. Our stay here was absolutely wonderful! If you are looking to de-stress yourself and slow your pace while taking in some of nature’s show it would be hard to beat this place. It’s has the amenities that make life a little easier and if you really can’t stay away from the TV or just need to see that game they have you covered. The owners are super responsive and helpful. If you want to get a bite to eat local dining options are no more than……

“What a cute property! Lorraine was easy to work with and had some nice surprises when we arrived. Homemade brownies with nuts, drink and breakfast choices. Very cozy and beds extremely comfortable upstairs. Will return for a weekend in the mountains. Thanks, Lorraine!”
