“The date of my stay was Sun Feb 9 - Tues Feb 11, 2025. It was a great place to stay with beautiful views. Our stay was short. We were there for my son to participate in WASI- Wintergreen Alpine Special Invitational. Travel to the Mountain Inn for ski competition and celebration was easy. I really enjoyed having the full kitchen so we could make breakfast each day. The washer and dryer were helpful for keeping ski bibs clean and dry.”

Front office staff was pleasant and accommodating both times (It was the same woman both times...I just can't remember her name. ) If you are going to stay here, you so need to bring a hair dryer, conditioner (shampoo is provided), creamer( if you don't like French vanilla)”

“Sam was a wonderful host for our three generation family visit to Charlottesville. He was responsive and helpful, and made sure our trip was a success. The house is very centrally located making it easy to get to all the various things we wanted to do. The three bedrooms and bathroom were lovely and clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals at home. The neighborhood is a quiet residential area, so perfect for the kids who went to bed early. Overall we had an outstanding trip……

Nelson county has always been a favorite spot for us to go to, but most of the time we have made day trips. I absolutely love being able to post up for a weekend in a quiet setting and being able to relax. Even the pup enjoys the quiet and are keen to relax next to the stoves. “This cottage was in a charming location with a creek out back, lovely grounds, and total privacy. We stayed in the late fall; it must be even better in the spring or summer. It is the best-equipped -i.e., amenities - of any place we’ve ever stayed. Comfortably furnished. Nice appliances. Would happily return. ”

“A beautiful historic property and working farm, it was the perfect getaway for some lifelong friends looking to get away. Bill and Cynthia are wonderful hosts and the home has everything you could need. It is very large and can easily accommodate a large family or group event.We were even given samples of maple water from the frees, and farm-fresh eggs! “Clean, cozy,and convenient!”

“Don't keep looking..... Book your stay here! It's AMAZING! This cabin has stunning views and complete serenity. The Pavilion by the lake just can't be beat....an outdoor OASIS! The hosts are very accommodating, the Christmas decor was beautiful. The cabin itself is cozy and spacious and will have everything you need!”

“17 family members stayed for a long holiday weekend and this house was absolutely perfect! The open floor plan on the main floor offered something for everyone! The kitchen is spacious, has every amenity imaginable including two refrigerators. We used the two sided fireplace which kept us toasty and added to the ambiance. The guys loved having the pool table, and the comfy chairs by the window became the perfect spot to sip some wine and watch the snow fall. We loved the rustic mountain……

“One night stay. Very comfortable bed. Very clean facility. Staff very professional. Bar food and drinks were very good. Only complaint is I was told the fitness room was only open 7am - 10pm from both front desk and bar tender. I learned when I went to the fitness room at 7am, the fitness room is open 24/7, the pool is 7am - 10pm. ”

Worst front desk I ever met

"First when I checked in, there still guests inside for the room gave to me Then I had to go back to asked another room. The lady at front desk was not happy and passed that room to another check in guest. Moment after, that guest met the same issue. Few hours after my check in, my credit card was charged again. So I went down to check with the front desk. The lady at front desk is very rude and she said that is the system trasaction and she can do nothing. And nobody I can talk to. I have to wait to see..I will never stay in this hotel again"
