“This was THE best place I have ever stayed. I was traveling with my four kiddos and husband and there was plenty of space for us. The free snacks and ice cream made the stay for them memorable. The building itself had been beautifully restored and the space is huge. There is a great quiet and picturesque place to read and a beautiful old library with a gorgeous pool table for some fun. I can’t wait to go back! Beds were super comfortable and everything was spotless. I can’t recommend this place……

“Had a girls weekend & stayed in the top floor 2 bedroom suite. It was a perfect getaway, with ample room. The kitchen was great for a quick breakfast before heading out and the living room was great for watching a movie at night. Parking was provided behind the house, but we didn’t need to move the car after parking originally because everything was very walkable. “The date of my stay was Sun Feb 9 - Tues Feb 11, 2025. It was a great place to stay with beautiful views. Our stay was short. We were there for my son to participate in WASI- Wintergreen Alpine Special Invitational. Travel to the Mountain Inn for ski competition and celebration was easy. I really enjoyed having the full kitchen so we could make breakfast each day. The washer and dryer were helpful for keeping ski bibs clean and dry.”

“Sam was a wonderful host for our three generation family visit to Charlottesville. He was responsive and helpful, and made sure our trip was a success. The house is very centrally located making it easy to get to all the various things we wanted to do. The three bedrooms and bathroom were lovely and clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals at home. The neighborhood is a quiet residential area, so perfect for the kids who went to bed early. Overall we had an outstanding trip……
