“This was a beautiful excursion for me and my girlfriend. I think it could’ve been cleaner, at least for her. However, when you’re staying in a cottage out in the woods I think it’s probably tough to keep all of the outside from being inside. That being said there were minimal bugs and other things like that in my opinion. The amenities were plentiful, I had everything we needed to cook in our beautiful cottage. The availability of canoes, bikes, and more was awesome too. I will definitely bring……

“Wife and I were looking for a place away from the hustle that comes with NOVA normally, and especially the weekend of the inauguration. I must say we found the absolute best spot. Nelson county has always been a favorite spot for us to go to, but most of the time we have made day trips. “This is the second time my husband & our dogs have stayed here. We love the cabins & the site. The cabin is right next to a relaxing creek; our dog enjoyed it too. I love that we do not have cell phone service, but still had a strong wifi connection for when we wanted it. Lots of trails & things to see nearby. I can't wait to return again & continue to explore. ”
