“I was quite happy with the service in this hotel, the assistant manager was really helpful and friendly. I read some comments complaining about the breakfast and rooms condition, i guess it is not fair as we are not paying high amount of it so shouldn't expect extremely high. The breakfast was delicious just my room was a bit old but it's a village hotel, so it's much better than i expected. Btw, the pool was quite full so maybe not worth it if you have to pay extra for the entry. Anyway in……

“Firstly, the location is excellent. Very easy to navigate from the train station. Upon entrance into the property, you are welcomed by extremely friendly and professional staff. Whilst admiring the decor and furnishings you are even offered a beverage when signed in - a wonderful touch. Once in your room, you will enjoy a well cleaned, beautifully lit, main bedroom, bathroom & shower. Overall, a joyous experience, with quaint nearby dining options. The hotel food, also lovely. “We stayed in a room that is more spacious than average ones. Clean and tidy. Staff are very polite and hospitable. Buffet style English breakfast is served, and quite tasty. The kitchen even takes simple orders to suit your needs. Guests can also use the pool and gym for free, which is rare for many hotels. Lots of parking spaces. The only concern is that the room has no air conditioning. During a summer day it could be rather hot and stuffy.”

“The service apartment is spacious and tidy, facilities are in very good condition. They also provide a number of utensils and cutlery so that you can cook in the dining room. I appreciate their welcome drinks especially hot chocolate and tea bags are freely provided in the apartment. The carpark will be a bit spooky, but it only cost about 15 pound for 24 hours and the security would be comparatively better than on-sheet parking or outside carpark.
