“Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. “Middle of March and still fairly cold .Main heating doesn’t stay long enough to heat up the apartment.I had to use the electric heating which run on a meter .I ended up paying £15 on the electricity meter for heating ,lights and cooker for 3 nights stay .The downside for me was paying to keep the electricity going .Just be aware when booking ,they have the old electricity meter where you have to pay extra to keep the electricity going for the duration in your stay ”

“Charming place, we hadn’t realised how good the sea views were/are. Nicely located being a short walk from Babbington centre with the rest of the English Riviera easily accessible. Heating and hot water both fine, spotlessly clean and well equipped kitchen (even washing up without a dishwasher didn’t seem like a chore with those views!). We had an issue with the WiFi which the owner worked to resolve, sadly without success. But Sunny Bank is a great spot in a great location - recommended”

“The lobby, bar and restaurant have an elegant and timeless feel. I loved relaxing on the terrace with a cup of tea and a book. The room was large but my air conditioner didn’t work and the bed felt worn/old. I mentioned it to the desk and they put a mattress topper on the bed which really fixed the issue. The windows opened and in late August with the fan in the room - I was comfortable. The comfort of the rest of the hotel and the fantastic sauna, pool and hot tub made up for the bed and air……
