“I booked a single room with private bathroom. However, it does not locate in the room. I needed to go outside every time I used the closet and even I washed my hands. It’s not what I want for privacy and convenience although I was the only one who kept the bathroom key!”

“Comfortable cabins, and a fantastic home cooked breakfast. Yes, the drive is a bit potholed, but the welcome is second to none. I had a home cooked evening meal, which the host will provide for a reasonable cost. It is lovely to be out in the countryside - and I felt totally at home. Unfortunately I experienced a flat tire whilst there (a really old tire went pop) and the host was so kind - he sorted me out with a replacement tyre to keep me on the road for my meetings. “We stayed for one night while on business The building is a quirky old place and had been a school! The large rooms have been divided into a number of cosy well appointed rooms Check in was self service and very well organised Ordering breakfast was via a well designed form Lisa and Phil are lovely and we met them at breakfast! Breakfast is one of the best I've ever had, all freshly cooked by Phil! Highly recommended ”

“We are so pleased to have discovered this little gem. From arrival at this charming village pub, the staff (and locals) were friendly and helpful, happy to give local info (restaurants, buses etc). We were shown our room which was one of 4 terraced bungalows, purpose built at the bottom of the pub garden so away from the pub, secluded with shrubbery and hedge and quiet. Perfectly adequately sized for 2 people, furniture of good quality. A lovely comfy super king size bed with crisp cotton……

“It was a nice stay. I had a long term stay that was over 30 days. I had the double room, and i felt like it was cramped due to the ceilings. I had to constantly be stooping over or craining my neck in the room. I wouldn't rebook this room for a stay longer than a week. The owner was great and very nice.”
