“This property could be great, but is currently under construction with hanging plastic blocking hallways. We had no idea and got really creeped out. Friends of ours staying on the ground floor left at 7am because the gym was on the opposite side of their wall and the slamming weights wouldn’t stop, even after asking the front desk. Not the most comforting stay. ”

“Magnuson Hotel, Commerce, Texas, April 8th, 2023 We had a bad experience with the Magnuson Hotel. After check-in Sunday afternoon, we had yet to learn how much construction was happening in the building. On the south side, all three building floors are under renovation. Dusty and with construction smells, no physical barriers or temporary walls were in place to prevent dust and noise contamination on the north side of the building that the hotel is attempting to rent out during the remodel.……

“Cheap but you want to get the rooms attached to office building or right behind the main building bc the rooms are much much nicer. Each building has a different owner and the building to the side with front and back rooms , up and down stairs are the worst most have roaches and others have to many companies issues , as well as bad odor”
