“This place was everything I hoped for and more! Great location. The view is stunning! This is a gorgeous property with everything, and I mean everything, you would want to feel like home. Every decorative detail is special. We enjoyed board games, the hot tub, the kitchen, the screened in porch, the view from each bedroom, the fire pit area and the river too. “The climb to the property is unnerving with steep dropoffs the entire way up and down. I think letting people know that the drive includes a narrow road winding the side of small mountain would have been helpful, especially since it was raining when we showed up. “We planned a week of hiking in N Georgia. Helen put us in a very good position to reach trails without too much driving. We appreciated the kitchen very much and the cleanliness of the unit. In fact we had the building all to ourselves for the first several days. It was very quiet. We could have used a few clothes hangers and softer pillows. Staying for 10 days we could also have used a few more dishwasher cubes and a couple more trash bags. ”

“We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we visit the area. It was a great value for what we paid. We had a bedroom, a loft bedroom, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and living room for the same price I've paid for a regular hotel room. The key is to go into it with your eyes open. The property is older and it shows. There were dings in the furniture and the decor was outdated.
