“Beautiful hotel and great food. Very friendly staff. Our accommodation was in the Lodge which is great value. Only disappointments were that the upstairs area wasn’t available and there weren’t any of the nice homemade choc cookies on offer in the communal tea making area both of which we enjoyed on our previous stay.”

“Amazing place! Cute little place that has been remodeled to provide very comfortable and modern rooms. Everything was new and high quality, clean and comfortable, modern and well maintained - but in a cute historic building very close to all the retaurants and sights in town. We had a suite with a separate seating area with a fire place, a deck with a private hot tub (delightful way to end the day!), and a view of the river and a bit of the bay. “We had a Seaview room which was lovely. We had a great view of the sunset from our room. we only had one meal in the restaurant (not the main one where you need to book) and would not rate the food as good. The bed was ok, not great, and the pillows were hard. The room was so hot on arrival and even though we opened the window, it did not cool down enough for a goods night sleep. The windows were dirty and had lots of cobwebs. Room staff good, we did not require our room to be serviced but they……

“Sligo was such a quiet and charming place. We enjoyed our time there. We stayed in Riverside Hotel for 1 night, the very spacious room, nice staff and delicious food gave us very good impression. The room was just face the river, which had amazing view. After checking out for days, we met some unhappy misunderstanding with the hotel, but finally the hotel management dealt with it effectively.”

“We stayed at the Gateway Lodge in Donegal during our travels in Ireland. The onsite parking was convenient and easily accessible. Hotel is just a short walk to town with several dinner options. We ate at The Olde Castle Bar - seafood was fantastic! Donegal castle is just a few min walk from the hotel!”
