“I really enjoyed my last minute booking at Toadhals. I thought I was lost, following Google Maps down a rough, unpaved road just off the highway, but the directions were correct. The hostess came out to welcome me and showed me to my room, which was large and comfortable. She recommended a good place to eat supper in Stonehaven, and also directed me to a great walk around the property that went up on the cliffs overlooking the sea. Breakfast was prepared fresh, and was very good. I would……

“Although only 10 minutes from Stonehaven it was ideally situated in the beautiful Kincardine countryside. Room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was whatever you wanted and the bonus for us was that the plum tree in the garden was groaning with fruit. Owner picked some delicious plums for us. If we're back in the area well certainly consider Crawfield Grange as the #1 place to stay. ”

“only for when you get out the car 😀 The hotel was all we expected frm previous reviews. One night stopover for football at Cove Rangers, but would certainly go back for a longer visit. Everything was exceptionally good, except the articesque blast of wind that greeeted us in the carpark. The quality shown through from the staff to the food and the accommodation. Highly recommended. ”

“It was just a short stay, but a very comfortable stay nonetheless. I arrived quite late in the evening, was welcomed and promptly shown to my room. I enjoyed a very nice meal in the hotel bar/lounge before a very comfortable sleep. The hotel has a very quaint feel to it which was a nice retreat for a business trip.”

“When you flush the toilet in bathroom it makes a horrible loud noise. Info on apartment states it has washer and dryer - it does not. It has a washer and a hanging rack. There was still food in fridge and cabinets, was only given 2 towels for 4 people. Beds are close to floor and are horrible. No roller paper in one of the bathrooms. I truly wanted to walk out. ”

“I had a great stay at the Beeches. Good facilities and an authentic, friendly host. Good selection for breakfast: the butteries are delicious! ”

“What a quaint hotel located in a very nice neighborhood in Aberdeen. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. The only thing to be aware of there is a lot of stairs to your room, especially if you are on the 3rd floor, as we were. But it was worth it! There is a lovely outdoor patio for sunny days and a pub inside plus a higher end restaurant. We ate at both and the food was very good. Seems to be a popular place for local residents. ”
