“Although only 10 minutes from Stonehaven it was ideally situated in the beautiful Kincardine countryside. Room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was whatever you wanted and the bonus for us was that the plum tree in the garden was groaning with fruit. Owner picked some delicious plums for us. If we're back in the area well certainly consider Crawfield Grange as the #1 place to stay. ”

“I really enjoyed my last minute booking at Toadhals. I thought I was lost, following Google Maps down a rough, unpaved road just off the highway, but the directions were correct. The hostess came out to welcome me and showed me to my room, which was large and comfortable. She recommended a good place to eat supper in Stonehaven, and also directed me to a great walk around the property that went up on the cliffs overlooking the sea. Breakfast was prepared fresh, and was very good. I would……

“Such a fantastic place and hosts. Great home was uniquely modern with large rooms and excellent amenities. Beautiful views from our room. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast had everything. Don’t forget to order an evening platters. The town was cute and the Indian restaurant was wonderful. ”

“Stayed here for a second time. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Service is good. Suggest you check in with a person and not on the DIY screens. Breakfast was good. Coffee machines are tempermental though! Lots of people use the on site gym, so its a busy place. Didn't get to use the pool, but it's £5 for a 24 hour pass. Be aware parking isnt free, which is bizarre as it's on the edge of the city and tonnes of parking at the hotel and surrounding businesses/offices.”
