“Great location and nice self contained unit”

“Great room at the top of the building, the shower was really good. Breakfast was continental and a brilliant start to the day. Room was cleaned every day and wifi was great. If you have trouble with stairs ask for room 7 on the ground floor.”

“I really enjoyed my last minute booking at Toadhals. I thought I was lost, following Google Maps down a rough, unpaved road just off the highway, but the directions were correct. The hostess came out to welcome me and showed me to my room, which was large and comfortable. She recommended a good place to eat supper in Stonehaven, and also directed me to a great walk around the property that went up on the cliffs overlooking the sea. “Although only 10 minutes from Stonehaven it was ideally situated in the beautiful Kincardine countryside. Room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was whatever you wanted and the bonus for us was that the plum tree in the garden was groaning with fruit. Owner picked some delicious plums for us. If we're back in the area well certainly consider Crawfield Grange as the #1 place to stay. ”

“Lovely characteristic hotel with very professional staff. A quiet get away for those needing it to relax and recoup. A bit expensive considering there was no pool, hot tub or sauna & steam facilities but the hotel it's self is absolutely beautiful. ”
