“Really nice place to stay for our quick winter trip up to visit family. The neighborhood is very quiet, which was great. Wish it would've been summer to enjoy the nice back patio and mountain bike trail access.”

“The house was just what we needed for our visit to MTU. It was clean and roomy…While there we got a bit of snow overnight, the roads were plowed the next morning. We had lots of fun on our long weekend. Thanks for sharing your house with us!”

“All the cozy vibes while visiting our MTU students for winter carnival weekend! Everything we needed to spread out, visit together, and enjoy our time. Many games of chess were played. Jacuzzi got a lot of use. Our college students enjoyed hiking in the snow & found some surprise igloos. Plenty of vintage books & decor add to the charm! Thanks for a great weekend.”

They gave us great suggestions regarding nearby snowshoe trails, Quincy mine tour, MI Tech Mineral Museum (a must!) and restaurants (loved the Ambassador,) We would highly recommend Kemp's and plan to return to this sweet log home ourselves.”

“We stayed here for my Son's state's Hockey tournament. It was a great house with lots of open spaces for ease of movement to cook and talk. The view was spectacular and it was so much fun to watch the snow storm role in. This house is atop a steep hill so thank goodness my husband had a truck to make sure we could go up and down with the snowfall. The roads got plowed everyday before we left and it was fine. There are no TVs so we had fun playing some card games we brought!”

“Great communication from the owner! Parking was great as we had multiple vehicles. The proper outside doesn’t look great because it’s in an industrial area, but the house was clean and lovely inside! Everything we needed and more. Also it was only minutes away from MTU. DEFINITELY recommend. ”
