“All the cozy vibes while visiting our MTU students for winter carnival weekend! Everything we needed to spread out, visit together, and enjoy our time. Many games of chess were played. Jacuzzi got a lot of use. Our college students enjoyed hiking in the snow & found some surprise igloos. Plenty of vintage books & decor add to the charm! Thanks for a great weekend.”

They gave us great suggestions regarding nearby snowshoe trails, Quincy mine tour, MI Tech Mineral Museum (a must!) and restaurants (loved the Ambassador,) We would highly recommend Kemp's and plan to return to this sweet log home ourselves.”

“The Copper Harbor Peninsula is so quiet this time of year, exactly what I was looking for. The well-equipped house was easy to find and access and perfectly set up. It was just me this trip - hoping to spot some aurora - and this was a perfect getaway. The view of the lake was great, I enjoyed the deck on the couple days weather allowed. Loved watching the deer who seemed to arrive around 6 each evening. Interior - bed, bath, living space were all comfortable. Loved having a "extra" table for my……

“Stayed for 5 days eveything was great . I may add also warm . With negative temps at night . Came from Indiana to snowmobile ,trails were great .The home had a perfect set up for snowmobiling a walk out door to an from the basement get off your sled walk into the basement an take off your gear leave the snow behind in. The basement no wet feet .I would re comend the snowmobile enthusiast to get on board . Michigama market 3.5 miles down the road gas for the sleds an the trail head starts where……

“We booked this place for MTU graduation weekend so we would be able to grill out and celebrate the achievements of our grad and this place did not meet but exceeded our expectation. The few things that were not already out (since winter in the UP ended yesterday) the owner got out and ready to go when asked. So not only did we have everything we needed but the location and space were perfect for everyone in the family. Plus, we were treated to amazing sun rises and sunsets every evening……
