“Amazing hundred year old rustic-style log cabin on a wonderful property. There are several shared amenities including row boats (already in the water and tied up to docks) and paddleboards, kayaks and a canoe or two. The lake is a natural wonderland- we caught several fish including bass, catfish, and crappie. We watched bald eagles soar and hunt, and swans float and fly. The hosts are very welcoming and take great care of the property, as it has been in the family for generations. The Finnish……

“Great communication by owner. We enjoyed our stay in this spacious rustic house laid out so everyone has some space to spread out. Very secluded. Wonderful snowy weekend. Easy access to Houghton. We felt relaxed after splitting some wood and spending some time in the sauna, complete with running barefoot into the snow. Would recommend this listing to others!!”

“Loved everything about our peaceful retreat! The extensive grounds were an extra bonus to the beautiful, spacious home. ”

“Great cabin and super clean. The owners live next door and are attentive and responsive. Great walking trails out the front door, and great location to spend time in both Copper Harbor and Marquette. Great motorcycle roads and golf courses. Definitely hit up Lawrey’s in Ishpiming for pasties! ”

“We enjoyed our stay here. Check in was a breeze and there was plenty of room for us and two other couples. Kitchen was stocked with anything we could possibly need. Ashley was quick to respond when there was an issue with the tv and it was resolved within 15 minutes. She was also excellent at sharing advice about the area and was able to provide some local recommendations for rock hounding! We would definitely stay here again if in the area.”
