“We are newly retired and we had not traveled to Michigan before. We decided on a fall trip to L'Anse. This was our first stay using Vrbo. We really enjoyed our stay. The home offered more than a hotel room. The furniture was comfortable My only complaint was with the breakfast cook. .Just kidding, I was the breakfast cook. It is a small home and it had all the comforts of home. Thank you for the great vacation.”

“I travel for work and need a location close to the hospital. This property was perfect. Host was able to set me up last minute and was easy-going and easy to communicate with. Would absolutely recommend and hope to be able to stay in the future. ”

“Stayed for 5 days eveything was great . I may add also warm . With negative temps at night . Came from Indiana to snowmobile ,trails were great .The home had a perfect set up for snowmobiling a walk out door to an from the basement get off your sled walk into the basement an take off your gear leave the snow behind in. The basement no wet feet .I would re comend the snowmobile enthusiast to get on board . Michigama market 3.5 miles down the road gas for the sleds an the trail head starts where……

“Was pleasantly suprised by the beauty of this little flat. My brothers and I go hiking every year in the UP! We choose a different area every year and this year, we chose Mt. Arvon, Canyon Falls and the areas of Houghton and Calumet! Loved our stay!”

“We enjoyed our stay at this property. This was our first visit to upper Michigan and this location was great for central location to see from Painted Rocks to Copper Harbor, and on our way seeing Apostle Islands. The UP treated us to spectacular display of fall color's.”

“This rental exceeded our expectations! Cleanest rental I’ve been at. There was plenty of room so everyone had their own space and having two living rooms was perfect! The kitchen was stocked with items so we could cook for a big group. Large pots, pans, 2 coffee makers, and even a kitchen aid mixer. Plenty of parking in the adjacent property. Finally a VRBO owner that knows how to make their tenants comfortable! 5+⭐️”

“Great location”

“Easy access. Great location. Host was VERY accommodating!”

“Very comfortable, cozy stay in a historical house. So fun to walk to the lighthouse and the beach. Our son was able to drive over from Houghton to visit in less than 40 minutes. We had a nice dinner at the restaurant in Dreamland. Our daughter and golden retriever enjoyed the little swimming area and the beach. We took the canoes out on Sunday afternoon and enjoyed exploring the little islands in the Portage- complete with shipwrecks. ”
