“I hardly ever write reviews but I felt like I had to for the Raajkutir! Such an absolute gem of a hotel. Unremarkable from the outside, but once you enter the grounds are so beautiful and traditional in style, you can’t quite believe that the hustle and bustle of Kolkata is just the other side of the wall. The rooms are STUNNING, the food delicious, and the staff are falling over themselves to help you. I wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you Raajkutir! ”

“The room smelled moldy. The booking site said I paid for breakfast included but the hotel charged me for it. No hot water. Location is OK: near the bus station.”

“Very dirty bathrooms and room. Towel are all worn down. Vanity in the bathrooms have stain same with toilet seats. Service quality is also not appreciable, ordered a glass, it took them multiple reminders and over 45 mins to get. Ice bucket did not have any tong so had to use hands to take out ice cubes. ”

“So these guys kept insisting that hotels.com confirmation number is not what it says on the booking...had anxious moments...they need to b educated on how the association with hotels.com shud work...then thy said they have a booking not via hotel.com but Expedia...bad user experience for us”
