“Really enjoyed our stay. Accommodation was comfortable. Rooms were clean and warm. Staff were lovely and so helpful. We had a baby with us and Derek, the owner, kindly gave us another room as there was not a lot of space in the room to accomodate our portable cot. The food in the pub was really good too. Didn’t have the breakfast as we were visiting family but we enjoyed the evening meals there. Would highly recommend. ”

“Nicole and Malcolm make Craigmount so special. Book themed bedrooms to reflect Wigtown, and a lovely sitting room to read or eatch TV. Our double bedded room with ensuite overlooked the garden. The room was quite compact, and made more so by our largish suitcases. If you have big bags, perhaps book a family room. All the rooms are accessible via stairs. The pre-ordered breakfast was freshly cooked and wonderful. Dinner options in town or nearby were limited, except to drive, especially mid-week.……

“Cannot recommend highly enough. A small en-suite room with 2 bunk beds for £36 a night - what is not to like. Sparklingly clean and access to kitchen with microwave and toaster. Rooms are newly designed with modern bathroom and one of the best showers I have had. Not much storage space, a bedside locker would have helped by providing a surface to utilise or even a shelf over the radiator. The photo is not the actual property- where is the alleyway on the right?”

“A fabulous place to stay. Creetown is beautiful and the accommodation is friendly, safe, and spotlessly clean, as well as being very comfortable. It is also fantastic value. With a very comfy bed, great shower, free tea and coffee and a TV in the bedroom, this was a superb place in which to stay and unwind after a long day's travel. The manager is a lovely gentleman and was very helpful. I will look forward to staying here again soon ”
