“We were looking for a quiet, private getaway and this little house provided just that. While the house could use a little maintenance (some paint chipping), it is equipped with anything you might want in the kitchen and the bedrooms are very comfortable and inviting. The living room also had comfortable seating and games to play along with a nice TV. We stayed in two days and out two days. The outside was well equipped too from the grill and fire pitt to the bench swing and adirondack style……

“My family had a wonderful experience at Ashe Creek Hideaway. The property is beautiful and quiet, great for stargazing at night and bird watching during the day. The cabin itself is very comfortable, and the kitchen is well-stocked. We enjoyed playing yard games that were on the property and roasting marshmallows over the large outdoor fire pit. Our dog loved running around the fenced in yard and relaxing on the porch. Short drive to Garner State Park for hiking and picnicking. 100% recommend!”

“Wow! What a beautiful part of Texas to visit! There is so much for kids and adults to do at this home. Ping Pong, volleyball, rope swing and a cool bunk house to stay in away from mom and dad! The home met every one of our needs. We’ll be back!”

“This property is excellent for a quick weekend getaway from the city buzz. The property sits on a huge lot with nice clean furniture. Loved the swing(s ) on the property. It is better to pack all that you need before heading to this cabin as there aren't any good convenience stores around. ”

“We enjoyed our time at this quiet and peaceful property. The house is in a gated area with other homes with large plots of land. The kids had a great time playing basketball and foosball in the fun upstairs area and adventuring through the wooded area. We enjoyed the fire pit at night and gazing at the stars. There aren’t trails but can be easily navigated. The owners were very responsive to our questions. The water is hard being in a rural area and had a sulfur like smell but we got used to it.……
